AFCON 2021: Sonnie Badu Advises GFA After Black Stars’ Painful Defeat To Morocco

Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician, Sonnie Badu has advised the Ghana Football Association after Black Stars’ painful defeat to Morocco.

Ghana’s Senior National team tested one goal to zero defeat when they locked horns with Morocco in their first group match in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021) in Cameroon.

Following the defeat, Sonnie Badu, who was visibly unhappy in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com, raised some concerns.

He also reminded the GFA that the African Cup of Nations is not trial and error.

Sonnie Badu further questioned how many experienced players are in the camp of the team to motivate the young players.

He wrote: “Dear GFA, I don’t know how many experienced players are in the camp to help these new ones settle. However, this is 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, not trial and error … The likes of @stephenappiahofficial @asamoah_gyan3 @laryea7official @john_paintsil_official should be in the dressing room motivating the young ones and why is #RichardOfori not part of the goalkeepers?”
