The employers of Captain Smart have confirmed his location.
This was after they raised an alarm over his whereabouts earlier.
On Thursday morning, TV3’s official Facebook page made a post—raising concerns over Captain Smart’s location after he was detained by the National Security.
“Onua TV/FM’s morning show host Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart, is nowhere to be found barely 12 hours after he was taken into National Security custody,” the post-Newshuntermag.com came across read.
Barely two hours after their post, they made an update about his location.
“Onua TV/FM morning show host Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart, has been found at GREDA Estate Police Station.
“He was last sent to the National Security secretariat, Wednesday night, but was nowhere to be found at the secretariat Thursday morning when management of Media General went there to visit him.
“His location comes as a relief to many, particularly staff of Media General,” 3News reported.
Captain Smart and Eric Daniels Dadzie Copperfield, were on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, granted bail by the Accra Circuit Court after they pleaded not guilty to two respective counts of extortion and abetment to extortion.
In the interim, the case has been adjourned to March 3, 2022.
