The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has postponed the date for its elections again.

February 23, 2022, was announced as the new date for the elections which was to be held on January 12 originally.

In a statement copied to Newshuntermag.com, Mr Peter Marfo, the Chairman of the National Election Committee, explained the need to reschedule the date.

The delaying of the formation of a committee to compile the Voters register and the approval of a budget towards the elections were mentioned as factors leading to the postponement.

A new date for the election is yet to be announced.

The Election Committee has therefore apologized to aspirants and members for the inconvenience caused following the decision.

The MUSIGA elections will take place at both regional and national levels.
