Sensational Gospel musician and accordionist, Adu Yaw Isaiah popularly known as Odiyifo Isaiah has eulogized the MUSICA President, Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obour, enouncing that he was the best candidate to be chosen to lead the union for the next fours.
According to him, renewing Obour’s mandate was the best decision taken by members of MUSIGA.
The “Yesu Reba” singer said Obour in his first term at office transformed the fortunes of union—and it may have be a gross on the part of MUSIGA members to have dethrone him in the delegates’ election which took place at Koforidua some months ago.
“Obour has over the past four years done extremely well and voting for him to continue his good works wasn’t a mistake at all. He was the only candidate who was fit to take the seat—and besides that he has hold the office for four years of which we had positive results, so we deemed it a great pleasure to renew his mandate,” he told the News Hunter Magazine in an interview.
According to Odiyifo Isaiah, Obour is someone he sees as competent and delivers on his promises.
“Obour is someone whois competent and walks his talks, very truthful and always thinks about the welfare of others. He has now laid a strong foundation at the MUSIGA headquarters and we hope to see a tremendous development at the regional level, as he has promise to do in the next four years—and I believe he will surely deliver.”
Odiyifo Isaiah called on all MUSIGA members to unite and fight for a better future.
“We all have visions and goals to reach and I think we can make it possible if we remain focus and united, let’s come together fight for a better tomorrow,” he said.
He also encouraged all musicians who are not yet members of the union to register in order to glean the benefit that comes from the union.
In a related development, Odiyifo Isaiah is set to release his maiden album titled “Fama Nyame” which contains eight tracks.
The tracks are: Yesu Reba, Hhyira Me, Fama Nyame, Meye Onyame, Meto Dwom, Hymn, Mene Woaa and Sesa Me.
The Sunyani-based musician featured Evangelist Kwasi Nyarko on this album.
