Young Ghanaian female musician, Abbi Ima, has been nominated in the Emerging Act of the Year category of the 2022 Ghana Music Awards-USA.
She earned this nomination with Khaypro, Casmel, Fad Lan, King Maaga, L’Bee Prince, Foto Copy, Goddy Wan, Sinam and Chief One.
This comes after Abbi Ima was nominated in the 2022 3Music Award’s Emerging Woman of the Year category.
The nominees for this years’ event were unveiled at Yonkers, New York on April 16, 2022.
The main event of the 2022 Ghana Music Awards-USA is slated for Saturday, August 20, 2022.
It will be held at Lincoln Theatre, Columbus, Ohio.
Organized annually by Don’s Music Production, the award scheme seeks to award hardworking Ghanaian musicians and producers.
