The host of the Kids Arena program on service Radio 104.9 in Sunyani, Johnson Owusu Bibini, fondly called Sir Johnson has strongly advised parents, guardians and the general public to help protect Children Online to safeguard their future.
Speaking on his show, he reviewed that, the rate at which Children Online abuse themselves with sexual images and video materials is growing and it looks very unpleasant.
“In fact, the rate at which Children Online are abusing themselves with sexual images and videos uploaded on the social media is very disturbing and unpleasant. This is a critical moment for parents and religious leaders to step in to help protect Children Online from harming and destroying their future.”
He added, “We should try as much as possible to educate our children about the dangers of posting bad images and videos on the internet.”
Speaking to the general public on his show, he called on the law enforcement to intensify law regulations on under age social media usage to protect or stop Children from uploading sexual images and videos.
“The law enforcement and other Children helping agencies such as Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), Child Helpline International should join hands in fighting against the growing trend of the situation.”
Kids Arena program is a hundred per cent centered Children’s radio program which seeks to nurture productive future leaders. It is aired once every Saturday morning between 11 am and 12 pm on service Radio in Sunyani, the Bono Regional capital.
