Ghanaian Gospel musician, Sonnie Badu has envisaged the success of Black Sherif.

He is hopeful Black Sherif can win a Grammy Award for Ghana music in the future.

The popular Gospel musician advised Sherif to remain humble and focused.

He stated in a post-Newshuntermag.com has seen that it is not easy to break through the borders of Nigeria with music.

His statement was on the heels of Black Sherif topping a chart in Nigeria with his latest song ‘Kwaku The Traveller’.

Sonnie Badu also urged the young musician to release more bars and stay clean.

He captioned a photo of Sherif on Instagram: “Breaking through the borders of Nigeria with music is not a joke. I’ve been here over 10 years and Nigeria is home for me when it comes to music.

“I am very proud of you @blacksherif_ your music is a breath of fresh air. Remain humble and focused, come up with more bars and stay clean. Hopefully you can win a Grammy for Ghana music sometime in the future. #DrBadu.”
