I Was Given Raw Weed As Payment After Performing At An Event – Blakk Rasta Sadly Reveals

Ghanaian musician and media personality, Abubakar Ahmed, otherwise known as Blakk Rasta, has revealed one of his sad encounters with event organizers.

He recounted being paid with raw weed after performing at an event.

The ‘Barrack Obama’ composer made this disclosure during an interview on Citi TV that Newshuntermag.com has come across.

“I come with a full band set to rock the people with full energy, two hours I’m on stage like a mad lion then I finish, and you say all Rasta man need is weed.

“They give you raw weed and transport and tell you to go after the show. People have taken Rasta for granted for far too long,” he disclosed.

Meanwhile, he claimed an artiste he described as a “bald head” was paid a huge sum of money.

Blakk Rasta registered his displeasure over how his efforts have not been recognized.

“They will call a certain ball head and pay this person ¢500k to come and mime. Look, I make some of the best songs in the world, but wickedness and greed will let people gravitate towards you,” he stated.
