Central African Republic Hold Black Stars Of Ghana To A 1-1 Draw Game In AFCON 2023 Qualifiers

Spoils were shared when the Black Stars of Ghana locked horns with Central African Republic.

Mohammed Kudus put Ghana ahead by scoring in the 17th minute.

The home team, Central African Republic got the equalizer through Karl Namnganda in the 41st minute.

Despite their dominance in possession, the Black Stars were held to a 1-1 draw game after the end of 90 and 5 minutes of play.

Coach Otto Addo made seven changes ahead of the game.

Ghana is still on top of Group E of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers with four points.

This was after Madagascar drew with Angola.

The Blacks Stars thrashed Madagascar three goals to Zero at the Cape Coast Stadium on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Ghana will play their next match at home with Angola on September 19, 2022.

Cote d’Ivoire has been announced as the host for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
