America’s Got Talent Finalist, Zuri Craig Dies At The Age Of 44

America’s Got Talent finalist, Zuri Craig, has died.

He passed on at the age of 44.

His sad demise was announced by his family in a statement shared online.

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of our beloved son, brother and friend, Zuri Craig,” the family broke the sad news on Craig’s official ZoReMi Entertainment Instagram page on Sunday, October 23, 2022.

The statement added: “We thank you in advance for your prayers. Please honor our privacy at this unimaginable time of mourning.”

The cause of his death is yet to be revealed.

Zuri Craig made his debut on America’s Got Talent in 2015. Together with his singing partner, Jeffrey Lewis they wowed the judges and audience with their take on James Brown’s “This Is a Man’s World” and later got the golden buzzer from Michael Bublé after their electrifying performance of Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Goin’ Down.” They attained the 5th position in that season.

Craig was featured in some of Tyler Perry’s Madea plays, including, Madea’s Big Happy Family, Madea Gets a Job and A Madea Christmas before his participation in America’s Got Talent.

He also appeared on Oprah with Perry in the early 2010s.
