I Took A Break From The Music Scene Because Of Depression, Social Anxiety And Panic Attacks – Singer, Adomaa Reveals

Nigerian/Ghanaian singer, Joy Onyinyechukwu Adomaa Serwaa Adjema, simply known as Adomaa, in the music industry, has revealed why she took a break from the music scene.

Adomaa, who was in hibernation for some time, told Naa Ashorkor in an interview on Asaase Radio about the struggles she endured.

She said it got to a time that she wanted to be in a different environment.

A long the line, Adomaa divulged she had suicidal thoughts and she felt like she was definitely going to die.

She also revealed in this interview-Newshuntermag.com came across how she battled social anxiety and panic attacks.

During this period she got a trigger, struggling to breathe whenever someone engages her in a conversation about music.

Adomaa recently dropped a new song titled ‘You Used To Love Me’ after recovery.
