Ghanaian singer, Jacqueline Acheampong, well known as Gyakie, has revealed why she is scared to fall in love.
She stressed in a recent interview on the KSM Show that she is single.
The ‘Something’ singer said she is scared to fall in love after her fame.
According to her, she does not know if she will be loved genuinely or if the person will pretend to love her because of her fame.
She, however, asked those interested in her to try their luck.
“So, I haven’t fallen in love because it’s too hard to tell who loves you for who you are or to tell who loves you because I’m Gyakie and they want to brag about it, so that is another danger,” Gyakie disclosed.
“Though scared and trying to make sure it’s for the best, I’m still ready and willing to give love a chance. So come on, come on, shoot your shot!”
“I sing love songs to the audience, but that doesn’t mean I am in love or sing it with the feeling of love. All I do is sing. Maybe when I fall in love in the future, So I started to feel what my fans feel when I sing or listen to my songs. Music is for the fans.
“When it comes to relationships, I don’t pay much attention to it. I am in my corner, I will gladly accept whatever comes my way. Right now I am focusing on my studies so that later in the future when It’s okay if God sends someone to me,” the rising singer added.
