Ghanaian musician, Kofi Kinaata, has revealed why he will never venture into politics.
He stated in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM that he does not want his parents to be dragged into issues because of politics.
Having witnessed how some people insult the family of politicians, Kinaata said he will concentrate on his music career.
“They will insult my mother so I beg you to leave me out of politics because in my hometown where I come from, politics isn’t about facts,” he averred.
Kofi Kinaata indicated that he won’t be bothered if the insult is to be targeted at him alone.
“Insulting me personally won’t bother me much but extending it to my parents who might have lived a life that no family member of yours can come closer to but because I’m into politics that’s why you’ll insult them.”
