Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, believes the National Cathedral spans on propaganda.
She guessed in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com that it is just propaganda gone wrong.
The outspoken actress stated that officials named it a cathedral to lure Christians and get support.
Lydia Forson added that there wouldn’t have been criticisms if it were to be a Heritage centre or museum.
“I’m guessing the #NationalCathedral is just propaganda gone bad. They called it a cathedral to play on Christian emotions hoping to garner more support. I doubt it would have been met with as much resistance if it were a Heritage centre/museum,” she wrote onTwitter.
A section of Ghanaians has spoken against the construction of the National Cathedral as the country is in hardship.
