The National Cathedral Secretariat has responded to the hullabaloo about a $50,000 payment to Sonnie Badu.
It was rumoured that the USA-based Ghanaian Gospel musician was paid this amount when he performed at the launch of the National Cathedral in the USA.
Sonnie and his team denied the allegation.
In a statement Newshuntermag.com has seen, the National Cathedral Secretariat said no amount of money has been paid to Sonnie Badu.
The statement added that the Secretariat is not aware of any such payment to the musician.
