Ghanaian musician, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known as Guru, has bemoaned the high cost of living in the country.
He stated in an interview with Giovani Caleb on 3FM’s Drive which was monitored by Newshuntermag.com that people are struggling.
The ‘Lapaz Toyota’ hitmaker said a lot of Ghanaians are living above their means while salaries remain unchanged.
“The cost of living is very high. People are living above their means but the salaries remain the same,” Guru said.
Due to this, the renowned rapper averred he won’t rate President Akufo-Addo’s government above 50 per cent on their performance.
“In their first 4 years, I scored them 60% but they will not get above 50% if I am to score them this time,” he concluded.
The majority of Ghanaians have been sharing the same sentiment on the current economic situation in Ghana.
