Ghanaian songstress, Jackline Acheampong, known widely as Gyakie, has reacted to criticisms that she only composes love songs.

She said in an interview with Hypeman Ferggy on Y97.9 FM that there is nothing wrong with that.

As far as people love what she does, Gyakie is okay.

“There’s nothing wrong with that, if that is what I have been bringing I am good at it and people love me for that,” she stated in the interview-Newshuntermag.com has come across.

The ‘Something’ singer also opened up on how beats inspire the songs she composes.

“Mostly the beats inspire me on what to write on, so if the beat gives me emotional vibes, I am going to produce an emotional song,” she disclosed.

Gyakie added: “I am a versatile artiste, I do reggae, I do hip-pop, I do RNB and Amapiano as well.”
