Lasmid has finally disclosed how the ‘Friday Night’ song was conceived.

He told Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM) in an interview on Y 97.9 FM’s ‘Dryve of your Lyfe’ show which Newshuntermag.com has come across that he did not plan towards composing the song.

The Highly Spiritual Music artiste indicated that he had an original plan of recording a birthday song.

However, he did not feel how it sounded—so he stopped.

After listening to the beat on a different day, Lasmid revealed that the ‘Friday Night’ lyrics were carved.

He explained that he did not sit down to write the ‘Friday Night’ song.

“It was my birthday and I was actually at home trying to record a birthday song, so I recorded and played the song but it didn’t sound well to me so I shunned working on it. I listen to the beats a day after again and for no reason, it sounded nice and the lyrics started coming. So, I did not sit down to write this song,” Lasmid disclosed.

The song is currently performing well on streaming platforms.
