Ghanaian musician, Michael Kesse Frimpong, known simply as Kesse, has talked about the challenges he is encountering as a born-again Christian.
He gave his life to Christ some years ago.
Kesse released Gospel songs following her Christian journey.
He told Graphic Showbiz in an interview-Newshuntermag.com has come across that he sometimes regrets letting go of his past life.
Kesse bemoaned he is not even getting the opportunity to perform his Christian songs.
He said: “Becoming a born-again Christian hasn’t been easy, particularly since my secular engagements have stopped. Sometimes I want to return to the world, but a pledge to God prevents me… I’ve accepted that being a child of God won’t be all roses.”
“Every true believer goes through challenges but there is always a way out. You will not endure the hardships forever. The beginning might seem tough but it is the end that matters and I have no regret getting to know God. That is not all. I had to get rid of certain friends who were likely to lead me into trouble so that I can focus on God’s work,” Kesse stated.
He also added: “I know some secular musicians who released Gospel songs after turning to Christ but failed to make it. Whether I make it or not in my Gospel music career is not really my focus.”
