MUSIGA Commiserates With The Family Of Deceased Ghanaian Musician, A.B Crentsil

The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has commiserated with the family of deceased Ghanaian musician, A.B Crentsil.

A delegation from MUSIGA, led by the Acting President, Bessa Simons paid a visit to the family.

Among the delegation were the acting National Treasurer, Samuel Kofi Agyemang and leading members of the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWEF), Pat Thomas, Naa Amanua of Wulomei fame, Asabea Cropper who played with AB Crentsil in the Tema based Sweet Talks Band and Director of Communications and Special Projects, Ahuma Bosco Ocansey.

They pledged to support the family in giving the veteran musician a befitting burial.

“As we all know, we have lost one of our legends who was also a former Vice President of MUSIGA and a founding member of AMWEF.

“He was also very supportive of the work of the union and played a great role in establishing the fund to support ageing and needy musicians. We will miss him greatly,’’ Bessa Simons stated.

A.B Crentsil died on July 13, 2022. His One-Week observation will come off on August 22, 2022.
