Ghanaian singer, Sista Afia, is running away from lyrical battles (beef).
A few years ago, she was in a fierce lyrical battle with Eno Barony and Freda Rhymz.
Their beef nearly turned physical as Afia threatened to beat Freda Rhymz at the premises of TV3.
Recently, she disclosed that their beef was planned but what happened between Freda and her was real.
The ‘Jeje’ singer declared in an interview with Graphic Showbiz which Newshuntermag.com has come across that she won’t ever engage in beef again.
However, she will sit back and observe those who will be beefing.
“[I won’t] ever do it again, although beefing is sometimes good because it gets people talking about you, I don’t think I will indulge in it ever again.
“[I will] sit back and observe those engaged in beefs but to get me to do it with anyone in the industry, that is not going to happen. I am done, I mean zero indulgence for me. I don’t think I will ever do that again.”
Sista Afia further advised female musicians in Ghana to support each other.
“We need to start supporting each other just like I have been doing for my female colleagues.
“I am always posting [on social media] works of other female musicians as a way of supporting my own,” she said.
