This Project Will Be A Sign Of Great Things To Happen In Sunyani And The Bono Region – President Akufo-Addo Assures Residents After The Commissioning Of The Sunyani Airport

Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has commissioned the Sunyani Airport.

The Airport which was shut down in 2016 was commissioned on August 3, 2022, following rehabilitation works.

Speaking at the ceremony attended by Newshuntermag.com, President Akufo-Addo hinted at what his government will be doing for Sunyani and the Bono Region.

He said the Sunyani Airport project will be a sign of great things to happen in Sunyani and the Bono Region as a whole.

The President assured the residents that his handy works for them will be visible before his term of office ends.

He noted that the issues of roads will be prioritized since it is dear to the hearts of the chiefs and the people.

For his part, Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, thanked President Akufo-Addo for the Airport project.

He hoped the residents will make good use of the Airport and patronize it.

Nana Agyemang Badu II also pleaded with President Akufo-Addo to work on some major roads in the Bono Region.
