Award winning female gospel musician, Obaapa Christy has disclosed that
her latest album, ‘Hyebre Sesafour’ has won lots of souls for Christ.
According to her, despite claims that her songs have not enjoyed a lot
of airplay, her aim of winning soul has been achieved,she revealed on
Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall, Saturday.
“God is still performing wonders through ‘Hyebresesafour’album. During
the launch of the album, one Pastor bought a brand new Toyota Venza car
for me for free…that’s how God works”, she happily said.
Obaapa Christy was full of praise for God for showering his blessings
on her since she re-launched her career after a long break.
“I have been receiving calls from many distributors demanding for
copies of the album, almost all of the country since thousands of copies
distributed so far have been bought”.
Obaapa Christy therefore urged her teeming fans to patronize her album
to enable her to give back to the vulnerable in the society.
“I have really suffered when growing up. I even remember some time ago
when I used to sell ice water in Kumasi ‘Magazine’ to support my mother
and other siblings. In fact, it has not been easy for me and so I’m
always happy when I see people changing because of my gospel music” she
added.
