I Am Ashamed And Hurt – Sarkodie Talks About His Inability To Attend Nana Ampadu’s Funeral

Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has talked about his inability to attend the funeral of Nana Ampadu.

The late veteran musician was laid to rest on Saturday, October 8, 2022. He was mourned for about three days.

Following the funeral, Sarkodie took to social media to lament his inability to attend Nana Ampadu’s funeral.

The Sarkcess Music boss said in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com that he is ashamed and hurt.

He wrote: “Ashamed and hurt for not making it to the Legend Nana Ampadu’s funeral … Uncle David Dontoh told me about it last Sunday… Crazy how I had it on my mind from then and still missed it but all the same Rest In Peace Grandpa May the almighty keep you safe

No excuse makes sense to even myself missing all these legends funerals.. Need to do better .”

The renowned rapper revealed the priceless advice he received from the Highlife legend before his death barely a year ago.
