South Korean singer and actor, Lee Jihan, has passed on.
He died at the age of 24.
Lee was among the 154 people who perished in a crowd crush during Halloween celebrations on Saturday in the Itaewon district of Seoul, South Korea.
The K-pop singer and actor’s demise has been confirmed by 935 Entertainment and 9 Ato Entertainment, his representatives.
He was a contestant in Season 2 of the Korean reality competition series Produce 101.
Lee was also featured in the web series Today Was Another Nam Hyun Day.
The Korean government has announced a period of national mourning that will last until November 5.
Messages of condolences are pouring in for Lee Jihan.
His colleague K-pop artistes, BTS, Tomorrow X Together, Stray Kids and Oh My Girl, have cancelled or postponed events and music releases.
