Argentina has put their hope in the World Cup alive after beating Mexico by 2 goals to zero.

A defeat against the Mexicans would have been the end of Argentina’s existence in the World Cup 2022.

They shockingly lost to Saudi Arabia in their opening match.

The first half between Argentina and Mexico ended in goalless.

Lionel Messi scored in the 64th minute for Argentina.

Enzo Fernández put a smile on the faces of the Argentines with his strike which became the second goal for his side in the 87th minute.

Argentina was eager to win all the points at stake.

Poland is on top of Group C of the World Cup 2022 with four points.

Argentina is now second with three points, while Saudi Arabia is in the third position with three points. Mexico is at the bottom with just a point.

Poland won 2 goals to zero against Saudi Arabia earlier.
