Ghana’s Sulley Muntari Announces Retirement From Football

Ghanaian midfielder, Sulley Muntari, has announced his retirement from football.
The former Black Star player revealed his decision to retire from football on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
“I’m done, I just did a few months with the local side. My son wanted me to play. I didn’t play for almost three years then my son decided to ask me to go and play. I did that,” he told Sky Sports.
Muntari started his football career with Liberty Professionals.
He played for Udinese from 2002 to 2007.
Sulley Muntari was part of the players who helped Ghana to qualify for its first Word Cup in 2006.
He had stints with a lot of foreign football clubs before joining Hearts of Oak in 2022.
