Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, widely known as Sarkodie, has finally admitted the hardship in the country.

The ‘No Fugazy’ rapper has been heavily criticized recently over his silence on the state of Ghana’s economy.

His critics think he is not talking about the economy because he is affiliated with the ruling government.

But speaking on 3Music TV, Sarkodie accepted that people are really suffering.

He stated that Ghanaians are in a serious crisis.

“Of course, the country is worse. We are in a serious crisis. People are suffering a lot,” the Sarkcess Music boss admitted.

On his ‘Nana Toaso’ remark in his ‘Happy Day’ song, the renowned rapper said he has not regretted it.

“What I said he [Nana Addo] should ‘toaso’, I stand by it because I think I benefitted from Free Education directly and I have the right to say I endorse that because this is directly.

“My mom has these girls we’ve been supporting. At first, she would call, asking me to help. I am not saying it is much but just the fact that I am not even hearing that, it came from that place and I was specific about what I was endorsing,” he revealed.

Sarkodie will be releasing his ‘Jamz’ album on November 11, 2022.
