A popular Ghanaian music producer has hinted at how Mona 4Reall was picked up in the UK.
Mona Faiz Montrage, widely known as Mona 4Reall or Hajia4Reall, has been in the United Kingdom for some time now. She was among those who performed at the Ghana Music Awards UK recently.
Reports about the Ghanaian singer being arrested over $8 million fraud popped up online on Friday, November 11, 2022.
The fraud issue, according to reports happened in the USA when she was living there.
Speaking on Peace FM, Music Producer, Kwasi Ernest, who is also part of the Ghana Music Awards UK team, confirmed the arrest of singer cum socialite.
According to him, Mona 4Reall was reportedly arrested by the UK police in collaboration with Interpol at Heathrow Airport on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
“I can confirm that she was picked up just when she was about to set off on her flight back to Ghana but we don’t have any information on her charges and where she is at the moment,” he stated.
Kwasi Ernest was not happy about the viral reports about Mona’s issue.
“I am very much disappointed in the way Ghanaians have treated Hajia4Real through speculations and social media reportage. Looks as if she is hated and people were waiting for an opportunity to display their hate towards her. There are many who do not even have facts of the matter but are running different commentaries about the case,” he complained.
