Ghanaian media personality, James Akwasi Otwey Junior, otherwise known as the Army General, has received an award of honorary doctorate.
He was awarded by the Sky School of Business Ideas.
This honour was conferred on him for his excellent work in the Ghanaian media space.
According to the school, the media personality’s work deserves to be emulated by young journalists for many years to come.
“Your show is the reason most of your listeners are informed about topical national issues,” part of a citation signed by the CEO of Sky School Business Ideas, Dr Solomon Agyemang Prempeh read.
Akwasi Otwey Junior was awarded in the field of media excellence.
His honour comes a few weeks after he tied the knot.
The Army General parted ways with Potters FM in Sunyani some months ago.
