Ghanaian Gospel musician, Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong, otherwise known as Great Ampong, has talked about claims that he is preparing to release a diss song for Daddy Lumba.
Great Ampong and the veteran musician have been having issues for some years now.
A few days ago, it was speculated that Ampong will be composing a diss song targeted at Lumba. This was after he thought the latter’s ‘Ofon Na Ɛdi Asɛm Fo’ song was meant for him.
Speaking in an interview with Agyemang Prempeh on Power FM, the Gospel musician denied that his song ‘Awurade Akatua’ will be a diss song for Daddy Lumba.
He revealed that Lumba’s name was not mentioned in it—and if it was a diss song targeted at him, he would have mentioned his name.
When the host drew his attention to an earlier statement he made in a different interview about his plans to drop a diss song for Lumba, Ampong retorted that it is not this particular song.
He added in a video Newshuntermag.com watched that he mostly mentions the names of people when he is composing a song for them.
