Ministry Of Foreign Affairs And Regional Integration Reveals When The Body Christian Atsu Will Arrive In Ghana

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has revealed when the body of Christian Atsu will arrive in Ghana.

Atsu, a Ghanaian footballer, died in Turkey after an earthquake.

He was missing for some days before his body was finally found on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

In a statement copied to Newshuntermag.com, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration indicated that the mortal remains of the deceased football player will arrive in Accra on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 7:40 pm.

According to the statement, the body of Atsu will be received by his family, the government and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) upon its arrival from Istanbul, Turkey.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family, and we pray for the eternal repose of the soul of Christian Atsu,” the statement concluded.

Christian Atsu, before his sad demise, was a player for Hatayspor Football Club in Turkey.
