Ghanaian actor, farmer and politician, John Setor Dumelo will be battling with Fred Nuamah in the forthcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries.
Some days ago, film director and the CEO of Ghana Movies Awards, Fred Nuamah opened up on his decision to contest at the Ayawaso West Wougon Constituency.
After his declaration, John has also disclosed his readiness to vie for the NDC parliamentary candidate position ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Mr Dumelo lost to Lydia Seyram Alhassan of the NPP when he first contested in 2020 at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
In a tweet seen by Newshuntermag.com, John Dumelo revealed what informed his decision.
He wrote: “After an extensive consultation with my God, my family and our party faithfuls in Ayawaso West Wuogon! This’s the second coming. #Still IDey4you.”
This will be a battle between two of Ghana’s public figures.
