English comedian and broadcaster, Paul O’Grady, has passed on.
He died at the age of 67.
Tributes are pouring in for the ‘Lily Savage’ famed personality.
His partner, Andre Portasio revealed he passed on “unexpectedly but peacefully” on Tuesday evening.
“He will be greatly missed by his loved ones, friends, family, animals and all those who enjoyed his humor, wit and compassion,” Portasio said in a statement sighted by Newshuntermag.com.
O’Grady attained fame in the London gay scene in the 1980s with his drag queen persona Lily Savage.
In the 1990s, he became more famous before he subsequently dropped the character.
Paul O’Grady later started being a presenter of various television and radio shows in the 2000s, including The Paul O’Grady Show.
The deceased was born in Birkenhead, near Liverpool, in 1955.
