Former Ghanaian President, John Dramini Mahama, thinks the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is the only hope for Ghanaians in the next election.
In a post sighted by Newshuntermag.com, the NDC presidential candidate hopeful reiterated the hardship that Ghanaians are facing.
He stated that Ghanaians are hoping for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win power and save them from hardship and high living cost.
John Mahama stated: “Ghanaians are looking up to us, the NDC, to win power and save them from their present predicament of hardship, high living cost, lack of critical infrastructure in their communities among others.”
He believes those who are contesting with him within the NDC and NPP flagbearer aspirants are afraid of him.
In the upcoming NDC primaries, Mr Mahama is contested by former Finance Minister Dr Kwabena Duffuor, Former Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) boss Kojo Bonsu and a businessman, Mr Ernest Kobea.
Addressing a gathering at Wenchi on Sunday, March 12, 2023, the Former President averred he is the right person to lead the NDC as flagbearer in 2024.
He was optimistic about the victory that God will give to NDC.
John Mahama also appealed to the delegates of the party to vote for him as he hopes for a second coming.
“I am confident that God will give us a victory. Let us vote massively for the NDC and support one person. All four aspirants, the NPP are not scared of anyone except one, they are scared of Mahama,” he asserted.
