Ghanaian music producer, Amankwaa Paul, otherwise known as Dare Mame Beat, has revealed the vision he had for DMB Records.

Some years ago, Dare established DMB Records. Artistes on board included Imrana of Imagine Say fame, Fali Finest and others.

He revealed in a discussion with Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku on Unlimited Chat With K.O.K aired on Top City TV that Imrana got his breakthrough song a few months after DMB Records came into being.

The Sunyani-based music producer narrated how Imrana’s song went viral after he recorded him at a time he was crying during a studio recording session.

Opening up about his vision, Dare Maame Beat said he wanted DMB Records to be like the Mavins (Mavin Records), a record label owned by Nigeria’s Don Jazzy.

Unfortunately, Dare admitted that things did not go the way they expected.

After Imrana’s breakthrough, they were looking forward to getting another artiste into the limelight.

Dare indicated that he formed DMB Records when he saw the talent in some of the artistes he was working with at his studio.

He has a lot to say in this conversation on Unlimited Chat With K.O.K. Kindly watch it below.
