Obrafour Was Against The Use Of ‘Killer Cut Blood’ In His Song – KOKA Alleges After Drake Suit

Commentaries about Obrafour – Drake lawsuit are ongoing.

Obrafour, a veteran Ghanaian rapper, known as Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko, filed a suit against Drake over copyright infringement.

He said the Canadian rapper sampled his ‘Oye Ohene’ song without his consent.

The Ghanaian rapper is seeking 10 million dollars in damages.

Following publications about the suit, a Ghanaian producer and event organizer, Mantse Aryeequaye came out to claim ownership of the ‘Killer Cut Blood’ part which was sampled by the famous rapper.

While a lot of comments are being made, entertainment pundit, Kwaku Osei Koranteng Asiedu, also known as KOKA, alleged that Obrafour was not okay when the ‘Killer Cut Blood’ part was included in the song.

However, he recalled the producer of the song Hammer defended that it was his signature tune.

According to him, Hammer further explained that Mantse was his boy and apart from the attention he wants for him, he would settle him.

KOKA indicated that there were many issues surrounding the ‘Oye Ohene’ song when it was being produced.
