Veteran Ghanaian musician, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, has commented on the songs churned out by young artistes.
He was not happy about songs being composed by these new artistes.
Mr Ambolley complained that they are singing about their girlfriends instead of important issues.
He thinks they do not have responsibilities.
“If I’m going to talk about it, I think they are singing more about their girlfriends than what is happening socially because if you watch recent music videos, you will see these young girls always shaking their butts.
“I don’t blame them because the young ones don’t have responsibilities, if you have a responsibility, it will reflect in your lyrics and your music videos but I think they are enjoying themselves, so you can find out from their video and how everything is being portrayed,” the veteran musician said in an interview on GTV that Newshuntermag.com has come across.
Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, therefore, advised young artistes in Ghana to use their songs to create positive change in society.
