American rapper and singer, Lil Wayne, is gearing for the ‘Tha Carter VI’ album.
He announced in a video shared on social media that he is working on his next project. This comes after his ‘Tha Carter V’ album—which was released in 2018.
Sitting in the back of a luxury sprinter van, the renowned rapper disclosed: “What up, y’all, Tunechi here. Thank you. [I] ain’t s**t without you. I’m not sure if you heard, but Carter VI is on the way!”
Wayne hinted at his next project during the Young Money Reunion tour in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday, during Drakes October World Weekend festival.
When he was about to end his performance, he revealed to the crowd, “I’m working on Carter VI, coming soon!”
After his revelation, a huge screen appeared behind him—with an inscription: “Tha Carter VI.”
Surely, fans will anticipate his forthcoming album.
