Ghanaian creative strategist and talent manager, George Britton, has stated that there are few professional artiste managers in the Ghanaian music industry.
He made this assertion in an interview with DJ Sly on Sunyani-based Ark FM which Newshuntermag.com monitored.
George, who is now the manager of Camidoh, admitted that lack of professionalism in the music sector is part of the factors hindering the growth of the industry.
The GB Interactive boss said artiste managers should have a plan before they start working with artistes.
To him, doing background checks about artistes would help their team to achieve the goals outlined.
Before he started working with Camindoh in January 2020, George Britton revealed they had a plan.
Though he planned to conquer Africa, the media maven indicated that making the artiste a household name in Ghana and selling his songs to the Ghanaian audience afterwards, was part of the plan.
George argued that people cannot be successful as artiste managers if they have money and lack the capabilities and skills to propel artistes to greater heights.
