Krontihene of the Goaso Traditional Area in the Ahafo Region, Nana Yenhyira Kojo Kuma, was found dead in a remote forest on the morning of Monday, September 4, 2023, by local police.
According to a report by Graphic.com.gh, a family source disclosed that Nana Yenhyira Kojo Kuma was believed to have gone missing on August 30, 2023, when he did not return home from the farm.
Radio announcements and earlier search parties had yielded no results until Monday morning when his lifeless body was discovered in a remote forest.
Foul play is suspected in his death and local police have begun investigations into the matter.
The news comes as a blow to the Goaso community. Meanwhile, condolences have been pouring in from friends and loved ones of the deceased sub-chief as everyone awaits the outcome of the police investigations.
