Popular Ghanaian musician, Samini, has spoken against the building of the national cathedral.

He labelled it as a misplaced priority in a recent interview that Newshuntermag.com has come across.

Speaking with Berla Mundi on TV3’s The Day Show, the well-known Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician was unhappy about the decision taken by the government.

He made this statement after he was asked whether he had been let down by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following his support to them.

“I am a person that does not buy into the idea of building a national Cathedral. That is purely a misplaced priority,” Samini stated.

He further called on the government to pay critical attention to healthcare, education, job creation sectors and poverty alleviation.

The building of the national cathedral in Ghana was opposed by some Ghanaians.
