The aftermath of Wednesday’s humiliating 4-0 defeat in the friendly match against the USA has left many Ghanaians outraged and disappointed with the Black Stars team and Coach Chris Hughton.
Fans were hoping the senior team would bounce back from last Sunday’s 2-0 loss to Mexico.
However, Black Stars only took further whooping at Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee, when the home side dominated the game right from kickoff and tilted all odds in their favor.
Many have described the Black Stars players’ performance as lackluster, evidenced by their inability to counter any of the four goals scored by the USA team, all within 40 minutes of the first half.
Coach Hughton’s many substitutions in the second half could not prop up the players to redeem themselves either.
Several social media users have expressed their dismay and frustration with the game’s outcome with some calling for the dissolution of the national team, while others are demanding the dismissal of Coach Hughton.
