Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has completed her sing-a-thon.
Aiming to break Guinness World Records’ singing marathon by an individual, the Ghanaian woman started singing on December 24, 2023.
She ended on Friday, December 29, 2023, by singing for 126 hours, 52 minutes.
After she ended her sing-a-thon, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com expressed her gratitude to Ghanaians and supporters.
She wrote: “THIS IS WHERE I END MY JOURNEY! 126 HOURS, 52MINS. WE BROKE A RECORD AND SET A NEW ONE. IT WAS YOUR LOVE, DEDICATION, MOTIVATION AND PRAYERS THAT GAVE ME THE STRENGTH TO GET ON MY FEET EVERYTIME AND KEEP GOING FOR THIS LONG. IT WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU! THANK YOU EVERYONE, THANK YOU GHANA! 🇬🇭❤️.”
Afua Asantewaa was overwhelmed when speaking in a video after she brought her sing-a-thon to an end.
She claimed not to have known the day she climaxed her sing-a-thon.
Afua Asantewaa will now wait for an official verdict from the Guinness World Records.
