Ghanaian woman, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, is doing her best to break and set a Guinness World Record.
In her quest to break the longest singing marathon by an individual, Afua started singing on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
She is expected to finish on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Afua Asantewaa Aduonum is aiming to sing for 117 to 120 hours to break the current record of 105 by India’s Sunil Waghmare.
A lot of Ghanaians and celebrities have thrown their support for Afua. She is also using this as an opportunity to promote Ghanaian songs.
