Article Wan has mentioned what will help Ghanaian artistes reach the level of Nigerians.
Known in private life as Bright Homenyah, the Ghanaian artiste stated massive investment in the music scene will help artistes in the country.
Article Wan believes Ghanaian artistes can reach the level of Nigerian artistes if they have access to massive investment.
“Nigerians are dominating the Afrobeats market, and it’s undeniable that massive investment has played a major role in amplifying their music globally,” he said. “While Ghanaian artists are putting in their best efforts, they simply don’t have access to the same level of resources.”
“There are numerous talented acts in Ghana, including up-and-coming artists, who unfortunately remain undiscovered due to a lack of support,” he lamented.
Article Wan, however, added that financial backing alone won’t guarantee one’s success. He indicated that innate talent and hard work are also crucial factors that would help an artiste to get a global breakthrough.
Though there are challenges, Wan commended Ghanaian artistes, Black Sherif, Fameye, Gyakie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie for promoting Ghana music to the world.
