A 3-year-old child, Tawiah Ampoma Richard, has perished following the accident involving popular Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin.
Ahead of the premiere of his ‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie premiere, Lilwin was involved in a car accident at Amakom in Kumasi on May 25, 2024.
The famous actor and victims were sent to the emergency unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
On Monday, May 27, 2024, Madam Victoria Nketiah, the mother-in-law of the person whose car Lilwin collided with, told Kumasi-based Angel FM that her 3-year-old grandson, Tawiah Ampoma Richard, died following the accident.
She disclosed that the young boy was pronounced dead at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. His after is also receiving treatment.
According to her, the young boy was in the front seat of his father’s car when the accident happened.
Madam Victoria Nketiah was not happy about how eyewitnesses rushed to help Lilwin while her son-in-law and grandchild were not attended to.
Lilwin and his people being at the centre stage of the reports about the accident—and nothing was said about her family members involved in the accident was another thing she was concerned about.
