The management of Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale, has cautioned the public on fake accounts created with his name on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In a statement released on May 19, 2024, Wale’s management revealed he is no longer using X.
They stated that any accounts currently posting under his name are fake, run by imposters, or are parody accounts.
On multiple occasions, the management said the artiste himself has publicly announced his departure from the platform.
Their efforts to report these accounts have not yielded any positive results yet, as these accounts are still operating.
They have, therefore, urged fans, followers and media outlets to disregard any content coming from these importer accounts.
The management of Shatta Wale stressed that official communications will be disseminated through verified channels of the artiste.
