Ghanaian artiste, King Promise, has expressed optimism in winning the Artiste of the Year at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
He stated in a recent interview on Hitz FM that he deserves to win this title.
With high hopes, Promise said he would be surprised if he doesn’t win the Artiste of the Year of the 25th TGMA.
His optimism stems from the work he did in the year under review.
He indicated that the number of people rooting for him to win also serves as a motivation.
“100%, won’t you be surprised? We’ve done one hell of a job. I’m not saying…we both don’t know who will win it. I believe I’m winning it. I believe I deserve to win it.
“…these days I just spit facts. Really I’m not one to blow my own horn or say stuff. I feel like this is the one everyone has spoken about the most in a very long time because you could tell like what we have done with our past releases over the past year and the work we’ve put in just representing the motherland to the rest of the world and being a worthy face of Ghanaian music,” the ‘Terminator’ singer said.
King Promise is in a fierce contest with Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Nacee and Black Sherif for the Artiste of the Year title.
The 25th TGMA is expected to come off on June 1, 2024, at the Grand Arena of the National Theatre in Accra.
