Veteran Ghanaian musician, Rex Owusu Marfo, popularly known as Rex Omar, has a message for Ghanaians criticizing Britain’s Got Talent 2024.
Some people have been complaining about Afronita and Abigail Dromo obtaining the 3rd position at Britain’s Got Talent 2024.
These critics argued that Afronita and Abigail should emerged as winners if not where they come from.
Responding to critics in a post on social media, Rex Omar told them to create Ghana’s Got Talent if they like.
He stated that critics should know and understand that the show is called Britain’s Got Talent.
Rex Omar, who is also the Board Chairman of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), maintained that the platform was created to unearth and promote British talents to the globe and not Ghanaian talents.
He said Ghana will always be lagging behind until attention is paid to the creative economy.
